Uppsala University welcomes you to the first Swedish conference on the writings of the Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery (1874–1942). The conference celebrates the 100th anniversary of Anne of Green Gables in Sweden. Montgomery’s world famous novel was published in Sweden already in 1909, the year after its original publication in the United States.
