Accommodations

Uppsala offers many kinds of different accommodations. A list of hotels, bed and breakfasts, hostels, cottages etc. can be found at the website of Uppsala Tourism.

Rooms for conference attendants have also been pre-booked at Akademihotellet (University Housing Office), a hotel owned by Uppsala University. The hotel is situated five minutes away from the town centre, between Uppsala Castle and Uppsala Cathedral. Campus Engelska Parken (English Park Campus), where the conference takes place, is merely a three minute walk away.

Akademihotellet is a small hotel with reasonable room rates (between 700 and 1 000 SEK, circa 110 to 150 CAD, incl. VAT, per night).

The hotel has parking facilities, and buses as well as trains to Arlanda airport can be reached by foot in ten minutes.
